>I feel like we blinked and all of the sudden summer came and went! We blasted through the summer with either a wedding, concert, in-town guests, party, etc. entertaining us every single weekend. In between the fun, we were working non-stop and dealing with selling the house (which, in case you are wondering, is not at all easy with 3 dogs and a record-breaking summer of rain and mud in Atlanta).
So today brought me my first day of rest since about April. Okay, so it took strep throat and a sinus infection to make me take a day off (or, it was the many months of craziness that caused me to get sick). Either way, I’m finally catching up on pictures.
Included are highlights. We didn’t do as good of a job taking photos as we should have. What you didn’t get to see was a wonderful Labor Day in Asheville, when we went to the town’s famous Lexington Fest. Or a relaxing weekend in Panama City with Rob and Megan – only we didn’t know it was Thunder Beach Weekend, so we were the only people in the crowd of thousands who weren’t in leather motorcycle gear. Or a girls’ weekend in Tampa for Andrea’s baby shower (and I got to play with the adorable 4-year-old Austin, who became my shadow for the weekend). Or, many of the other fun events that have unfortunately escaped my mind because we crammed so much in! It’s a great life, I tell ya…
